Raffles, demonstrations, purchasing materials

The Guild meets every month except for December. The meetings are held on the last Monday of the month, starting at 7:00pm, and are held at McDougall House in McDougall Park in Como, just off Manning Road. The committee meets prior to the general meeting, and starts at 6:00pm at the same location. The general meeting consists of a short update from the committee, followed by a raffle, a show and tell session, guest speaker or workshop, and usually finishes up by approximately 9:00pm.

Every month members bring in items of interest, either books that they have made, new sources of materials such as leather or specialty papers, or items that need work done. These are then shown and discussed, advice provided if required, and ideas shared around.

Some materials such as book cloths and adhesives are available for sale in limited quantities at the meeting, and there is always time for refreshments to make sure that the meetings don't get too boring with all the essential administrative details.
